About me
My work is rooted in the belief that making can be a form of listening. Listening to the land, to objects, to materials and to eachother.
Through tactile processes like knitting, hand embroidery, weaving, painting, and printing, I explore themes of repair, transformation, and care. I'm drawn to slow, physical methods that let me build deep, textured relationships with materials like fabric, pigment, and plant matter to create pieces that feel raw, energetic, and alive.
I trained in Textile Design and now work professionally in sustainability, which naturally informs how I think about resources, systems, and our responsibilities to both. In my artistic practice, I move between very personal storytelling and collective making.
Sometimes I’m dyeing fabric with weeds or fruits from the garden, stitching into old cloth, or printing with and onto leaves. The act of making brings me back to myself and feeds a love affair with the world around me.
I also run nature centred workshops, inviting others to experience the joy of making art with simple tools like paint, paper, plants and thread. These sessions are part of a wider intention to share tools for creativity that are accessible, grounding, and sustainable.
